1ºESO. TWO GOOD COMPOSITIONS ABOUT A VERY RELEVANT EVENT.
Eduardo’s blog
I had a really great day on Wednesday. My family and I came to Goleta’s bar and here we saw the match: Sevilla- Benfica, the match was spectacular and very exciting and in the end the winner was Sevilla, Sevilla won the Europa League. This day was a good day and exciting.
Eduardo González Moreno, 1ºQ
Last
wednesday was an amazing day! I was looking forward to that night for a
long time. It was the Europa League final and my team won the cup.
Sevilla beat Benfica to get the UEFA's trophy. I saw the match in my
house with my family but my brother wasn´t with us, he saw the match
with his friends. My mum saw it in the living room, my dad in his room
and me, in my room. When the penalties arrived, I went to my dad's room to see them with him. My heart was very fast when Gameiro shoot the last penalty. The football match was amazing and I was very happy.

OLIVER TWIST IS OVER. I'M GLAD YOU LIKED IT
It is a true tale of grief and trial, and sorrow, young man," returned Mr. Brownlow, "and such tales usually are; if it were one of unmixed joy and happiness, it would be very brief.”
Brilliant project by Ángela Bonilla
Differences between the book and the film by Polanski (Esther Bravo)
I have just read a book called Oliver Twist. Also I have watched the film based on the book and I have noticed that there are some differences between the book and the film. I'm going to say some of them. When Oliver scapes from the undertaker's house and he goes to London, in the film there is a good woman that helps and gives him food. In the book, he doesn't receive help from anyone. Also, in the film Mr. Grimwig says that he will eat his head if Oliver doesn't come. In the book, he doesn't say this. In the film, Oliver robs Mr. Brownlow's house and in the book he robs Mrs. Maylie's house (it doesn't appear in the film). When Oliver robs the house, in the film, he goes with Fagin but, in the book, the men leave him in a field. And the last difference I noticed is when Bill is killed, in the book, he dies alone on a roof, and in the film, he brings Oliver with him (of course, Oliver doesn't die). Teacher this was a difficult essay. I have done my best. Hope you like it.

TWO MORE COMPOSITIONS
An
Optical Illusion
Optical
illusions are confused images and very funny too.
For
example, in this photo we can see two people hugging, and it’s very
strange. Probably, the first thought you have had is that the woman
has a very weird neck. It looks like it’s inside her body.
But if you look it slowlier, you will see that’s not her head.
That’s the head of the other person, her actual head is behind the
other one.
Really,
this picture is awesome and can explode your brain.
Be
careful with optical illusions because things aren’t what they
seem!

BUS LEVITATION
Dynamo
is a famous English magician. He usually does magic tricks in London
places. He does his magic tricks when the people are not expecting
him and with things of the street, like a bus or on the River Thames.
If
he didn’t do his magic tricks in the street he wouldn’t be so
famous.
In
the next video Dynamo puts his hand on a bus and it starts rising.
When the bus starts, he takes a stroll throughout London while he
levitates next to the bus. If he didn’t have any fastening he
would fall, so… Is he floating in fact?
When
the people see him they look very surprised and they take pictures of
him. They think that it couldn’t possibly be real.
I
think that it would have to be a good set-up. There may be a harness
but I don’t know where it is.
That’s
why Dynamos is so famous, because you can’t imagine his magic
tricks.

OPTICAL ILLUSIONS. A FEW GOOD ESSAYS
MY
OPTICAL ILLUSION
I'm
going to talk about my best optical illusion. A truck that I saw
during my travel in United States.
I
was in a freeway of California, inside of my car and a truck overtook
me. But it wasn't an usual track, it was a Mars snack truck!!! At
first sight it looked a real and big snack and I thought that the
caramel was going to fall on the floor. After several seconds I
understood what was happening, it was an optical illusion because it
couldn't be a real snack... I was very impacted but I liked it very
much.
Well
it has been my favorite optical illusion of all my life and I
remember it like aN amazing anecdote.
This is a photo that I took with my camera that incredible day.
Carlos Salgado
Yesterday I
went to a museum and saw a picture that was amazing. It impacted me so much. In
this picture, at first sight you can see a man, but if you see well, you will
see a woman taking a coffee and reading. It's so strange.
In
this kind of picture you must see very well and know that it is an optical
illusion and must have a lot of secrets hidden. Another thing that you might
get impressed with is the video. In this video appears a magician called
Dynamo. If you saw some videos of this magician, you would know how his tricks
work.
But
if you don't see his tricks you should see them. So, Dynamo is a magician
that plays with you brain because you see things that don't happen, for
example IT is impossible that he can put one coin inside a bottle only
by hiting it. That's why all his tricks must have some trap.
Beatriz
Rodríguez
One of the most
things in world I like are the optical illusions, it's truth I'm very surprised
with them because you can see amazing things. I have seen many when I was
little and I was bored, I was looking for in internet and I found a lot of pages
and explications of every one.
I'm going to
talk about two:
The first is an
optical illusion where you can see two colours, black and white. You have to
look at the picture during 30 seconds without wink or the less possible and
later you look at a wall and you wink very fast, if you do it well, you will
see to Jesus, for me it's surprising, I was very frightened when I saw
it.
The second it's
sensation of movement, the principal colours you see are orange and purple or
pink, they are forms more or less geometric shapes like a circle or a sphere,
in the first image there are different distorted forms and these form the whole
sphere/circle, and in the second there are little squares or rectangles forming
the sphere/circle. You should see how the images are in moving all the time!! They
bother me when I'm looking their a moment and makes me feel like I was falling
down in a hole.
There are a lot
of optical illusions and all the possible kinds you can't imagine, they are a
lovely invent in my opinion, I'm not never tired of look at them!!
